(AP) ? Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman on Friday urged New Hampshire voters to stand up to the status quo and reject Mitt Romney, while a group of his supporters prepared a new television ad calling Romney a chameleon willing to do anything to get elected.

The $300,000 ad campaign is expected to begin running across New Hampshire this weekend, according to an adviser for the organization known as Our Destiny PAC. The adviser was not authorized to comment publicly.

"Two serious candidates remain," a voice says in the ad, which flashes images of Huntsman, the former Utah governor, and Romney, the former Massachusetts governor and front-runner in New Hampshire. "One willing to say anything, be anything. One who can actually do the job."

It continues: "One state can stop the chameleon. Vote Jon Huntsman."

Huntsman, who served as ambassador to China in the Obama administration, has not been anywhere near that pointed in his criticism of Romney. Speaking to employees at a Portsmouth software company Friday, he said Romney would be unlikely to change the "trust deficit" in Washington given that Romney has "half of Congress supporting him."

"Who's going to want to change anything when you've got the status quo supporting you?" Huntsman said. "You can have a candidate who's going to fight for change who is not going to be in the hip pocket of special interest groups, or you're going to have the status quo choice."

Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich also wouldn't do anything to restore trust in Washington, Huntsman said.

"Speaker Gingrich is not the kind of person who is going to be able to deal effectively with the trust issue because you can't deal effectively with the trust issue if you are a fixture of Washington, D.C., and have been for 40 years."

Huntsman, who is skipping Tuesday's Iowa caucuses, is betting his candidacy on a strong finish in New Hampshire's Jan. 10 Republican primary, which is open to independents as well as registered Republicans.

Huntsman entered the presidential contest with great expectations earlier in the year. But national polling suggests he's still largely unknown to many Republican voters. He's also struggled to raise enough money to pay for his own television advertising campaigns. On Wednesday, he told The Associated Press he's likely to leave the race unless he finishes in the top three in New Hampshire.

Pam Hicks, one of the software company workers, said she was 100 percent adamant before meeting Huntsman that she would not vote for him. After the event, Hicks said she was reconsidering although she doesn't like his anti-abortion views or his opposition to gay marriage, which is legal in New Hampshire.

"We believe nobody has the right to tell us how to live our lives," she said.

Still, Hicks said she planned to do more research on Huntsman.

"He needs a more serious look," she said.

Our Destiny PAC has now spent roughly $1.9 million on New Hampshire advertising to help Huntsman. That's more than any other outside group or other campaign has spent in the state, according to numbers obtained by The Associated Press.

Quo Vadis? The Future for Israel and the Palestinians

After more than a year of stalled negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, it is clear that for the foreseeable future there will be no deal resolving their differences and establishing a Palestinian state. It is fruitless to blame one side or the other. In my article in the Huffington Post titled "The Very Hard Decisions Required For Peacemaking Between Israel and the Palestinians," I pointed out why the leaders of both sides face obstacles to deal making that make it very difficult for each of them even if they so desired. Simply put, for the Palestinians, it is giving up the right of millions of Diaspora Palestinians to return to their former homes in Israel. For Israel, it is the ability to remove thousands of settlers from their homes in areas that would be included in the Palestinian state in a two state solution. But it goes beyond the fact that these obstacles operate to frustrate the desires of the parties. In truth, neither leader seems to desire a deal enough to make any meaningful compromise. The government of Israel, led by Mr. Netanyahu and his coalition, has shown no willingness to compromise in order to make a deal and continues to expand settlements despite international pressure to stop. And the Fatah government of Mr. Abbas, by embracing Hamas, has given Israel a legitimate reason to argue that it can't countenance any deal with an entity committed to its destruction.

It seems appropriate, then, to speculate on what the future holds for the parties under these circumstances of a stalemate. Here are some of the scenarios that one can project.

Scenario 1. This is the scenario that the Netanyahu government seems to believe will prevail. Israel will continue to expand settlements in existing settlement areas under the rubric of expansion to meet family requirements. Settlement expansion will continue in Jerusalem, which the Israelis argue is to be retained by them as their capital in any negotiated deal. And settlers will continue illegal settlement activity, making small inroads into new areas, with no effective government response. The United States and some European nations may make some statements about the negative effect such activity has on the potential for a two state solution, but American elections and European involvement in financial issues will keep them from taking any meaningful action. Even after the U.S. elections if Obama wins, it is likely that his focus on the Middle East will diminish in favor of emphasis on Asia and other parts of the world where the payoff will be greater and a Republican President is hardly expected to pressure Israel. Ultimately, the Palestinian territory will consist of a series of "bantustans" which could be turned over to Palestinian governance in some form that falls short of a real state that can ever threaten Israel.

In this scenario it is difficult to predict what course of action will be followed by other states in the region. Iran's efforts at nuclear capability will continue to be seen as an existential threat to Israel and Israel's response remains totally unpredictable. Egypt and Jordan, which have formal peace treaties with Israel, are under considerable pressures from their populations for internal changes and pressure may also build up to change their relationship with Israel. Countering that pressure is their dire need for the continuation of American financial support, which they would lose if they terminated their peace treaties. Saudi Arabia and the other Gulf states will make their usual statements condemning Israel's actions and calling for a deal with the Palestinians. But their focus will be on Iran and hoping that Israel will act as a buffer to Iran's expansionist ambitions.

Scenario 2. This is the scenario that the Palestinians seem to believe will happen. Fatah and Hamas will come to some resolution of their differences and present a unity government of what they will call "technocrats," that will eliminate pressure on Hamas to revoke its call for the elimination of Israel. They may have to increase their missile attacks on Israel and provoke Israel's more violent response in order to capture the world's attention, once again. But one way or the other, they will use Israel's relentless settlement activity to successfully press members of the Security Council and the United Nations to establish a Palestinian state, which will include at least half of Jerusalem. Since the state will be recognized by the UN, it will have as its borders the 1967 green lines, forcing Israel to move its settlers out of the Palestinian side of the green line or make a deal favorable to the Palestinians to trade other land for some of those settlement areas. The Palestinians will not have to formally renounce the "right of return" in the scenario of a UN delivered state.

Scenario 3. The Palestinians, with a new, younger leadership, inspired by some of today's Palestinian intellectuals, will decide to forgo what is left of a two state solution and press for a bi-national state made up of Jews and Palestinians. When Israel refuses to accept the Palestinians as citizens with equal rights, including the right to vote, they will start a campaign to brand Israel as an apartheid state, seeking world wide boycotts to pressure Israel into conforming to their demands. These demands, they know, based on the demographics of Israeli and Palestinian birthrates will eventually result on a Muslim majority in the land.

These are the most likely scenarios, but as we have learned from experience, the unexpected is usual fare in this very volatile region. The "Arab Spring" has brought with it new elements of uncertainty. For example, if the Assad government in Syria were to fall, it can have implications for Hezbollah in Lebanon and Hamas in the Gaza that affect Israel in ways we can't foresee. The apparent power struggle in Iran between supporters of Prime Minister Mahmoud Ahmedinejad and the clerics led by Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei can also have consequences that affect the region. In short, as the song goes: "The future is hard to tell. Que serra, serra. What will be will be."

NYC Mayor Says Work on 9/11 Museum Has Stalled Due to Money Dispute

Work on a planned museum at the World Trade Center has ground to a halt because of a financial dispute, and there is now no possibility it will open on time next year, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Thursday.

The underground museum commemorating victims of the 9/11 attacks was scheduled to open in September on the 11th anniversary of the disaster, a year after the opening of a memorial at the site that has already drawn 1 million visitors.

But in recent months, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum foundation has been fighting with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey over who is responsible for paying millions of dollars in infrastructure costs related to the project.

The Port Authority, which owned the trade center and is building the museum, claims that the foundation owes it $300 million. The foundation claims that the authority actually owes it $140 million, because of delays in the project.

The dispute has been simmering for some time, and some details of the work slowdown were reported in November, but Thursday marked the first time that the mayor and other officials have acknowledged that the fight would mean the museum will not open in 2012.

"There is no chance of it being open on time. Work has basically stopped," Bloomberg said. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said on a recent radio program that the Port Authority was "on the verge" of suing the foundation, but both the mayor and the Port Authority said Thursday that negotiations over the matter continue.

"I'm sure we are going to work something out with the Port Authority," Bloomberg said. "They've got a difficult budget situation. I'm sympathetic to that."

Despite security hurdles and ongoing construction, tourists from around the world have already made the memorial at the site a regular stop on their visits to New York City. Since it opened to the public Sept. 12, more than 1 million people have visited the memorial plaza, officials said.

The site now draws about 10,000 visitors a day, which would put it on pace to match or exceed the 3.5 million who visit the Statue of Liberty and Empire State Building annually.

Tourists -- some reverent, some just there to gawk -- have long been a staple at ground zero, but until this summer the closest they could get were the high fences that ringed a bustling construction zone where the twin towers once stood.

Negotiating fences and legions of construction workers is still part of any trip to the memorial. All visitors must reserve free tickets in advance and pass through a security screening. But the hurdles haven't stopped people from coming. Memorial officials said visitors have hailed from all 50 states and 120 countries.

Anthoula Katsimatides, a memorial board member whose brother, John, was killed at the trade center, said the attention is welcome.

"It truly touches my heart and reaffirms the importance of this memorial to know a million people have already come here to honor and pay respects to my brother and the thousands of other loved ones who died in the attacks," she said in a written statement.

Visitors to the site today can walk on a tree-covered plaza and see the two massive pools that sit in the footprints of the fallen towers. Each pool is ringed by waterfalls, and a parapet engraved with the names of the nearly 3,000 people who died on 9/11 and in a 1993 bomb attack.

Visitors can also get a close-up look on construction of One World Trade Center, now 90 stories high and on its way to being the nation's tallest building.

The original design for the rebuilt trade center included four other office towers, a transit hub and a performing arts center, as well as the memorial and museum.

Two towers and the transit hub are under construction. On Thursday, the memorial foundation set up a board of directors for the planned performing arts center, for the first time. The board includes trade center developer Larry Silverstein, Disney executive Zenia Mucha and Brookfield Properties co-chair John Zuccotti.

More than $100 million was set aside for the center by a downtown rebuilding agency and architect Frank Gehry was hired to design it, but private fundraising never began. Only one of four arts organizations originally chosen to anchor the center is still planning on moving in and officials say construction wouldn't begin for several years.

Worst year in decades for elephants (AP)

JOHANNESBURG ? It's been a disastrous year for elephants, perhaps the worst since ivory sales were banned in 1989 to save the world's largest land animals from extinction, the wildlife trade monitoring network TRAFFIC said Thursday.

A record number of large seizures of elephant tusks represents at least 2,500 dead animals and shows that organized crime ? in particular Asian syndicates ? is increasingly involved in the illegal ivory trade and the poaching that feeds it, the group said.

Some of the seized tusks came from old stockpiles, the elephants having been killed years ago. It's not clear how many elephants were recently killed in Africa for their tusks, but experts are alarmed.

TRAFFIC's elephant and rhino expert Tom Milliken thinks criminals may have the upper hand in the war to save rare and endangered animals.

"As most large-scale ivory seizures fail to result in any arrests, I fear the criminals are winning," Milliken told The Associated Press.

Most cases involve ivory being smuggled from Africa into Asia, where growing wealth has fed the desire for ivory ornaments and for rhino horn that is used in traditional medicine, though scientists have proved it has no medicinal value.

"The escalation in ivory trade and elephant and rhino killing is being driven by the Asian syndicates that are now firmly enmeshed within African societies," Milliken said in a telephone interview from his base in Zimbabwe. "There are more Asians than ever before in the history of the continent, and this is one of the repercussions."

All statistics are not yet in, and no one can say how much ivory is getting through undetected, but "what is clear is the dramatic increase in the number of large-scale seizures, over 800 kilograms (1,760 pounds) in weight, that have taken place in 2011," TRAFFIC said in a statement.

There were at least 13 large seizures this year, compared to six in 2010 with a total weight just under 1,000 kilograms (2,200 pounds).

In the most recent, and worst, case Malaysian authorities seized hundreds of African elephant tusks on Dec. 21 worth $1.3 million that were being shipped to Cambodia. The ivory was hidden in containers of handicrafts from Kenya's Mombasa port. Most large seizures have originated from Kenyan or Tanzanian ports, TRAFFIC said.

Fifty elephants a month are being killed, their tusks hacked off, in Tanzania's Selous Game Reserve, according to the Washington-based Environmental Investigation Agency.

With shipments so large, criminals have taken to shipping them by sea instead of by air, falsifying documents with help of corrupt officials, monitors said.

Milliken said some of the seized ivory has been identified as coming from government-owned stockpiles ? made up of confiscated tusks and those of dead elephants ? in another sign of corruption.

"In 23 years of compiling ivory seizure data ... this is the worst year ever for large ivory seizures. 2011 has truly been a horrible year for elephants," said Milliken.

Rhinos also have suffered. A record 443 rhino were killed in this year in South Africa, compared to 333 last year, according to National Geographic News Watch. South Africa is home to 90 percent of the rhinos left on the continent.

Africa's elephant population was estimated at between 5 million and 10 million before the big white hunters came to the continent with European colonization. Massive poaching for the ivory trade in the 1980s halved the remaining number of African elephants to about 600,000. Following the 1989 ban on ivory trade and concerted international efforts to protect the animals, elephant herds in east and southern Africa were thriving before the new threat arrived from Asia.

A report from Kenya's Amboseli national park highlighted the dangers. There had been almost no poaching in the park, which lies in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro, for 30 years until a Chinese company was awarded the contract to build a highway nearby two years ago. Amboseli has lost at least four of its "big tuskers" since then.

Cowboys Head Coach Jason Garrett on Giants

Q: Do you have an update on Tony Romo?

A: Tony was limited in practice. He still has swelling in his hand. He was able to grip the ball and throw it a little bit. He was limited and didn?t take all the reps that he would normally take.?

Q: Do you know if he will be able to play on Sunday?

A: I think he is making progress and we will see how he will respond to the work he got today. We hope that he will get more and more as the week progresses and be ready to play in the game. We will see.

?

Q: How much similarity do you expect to see from the Giants compared to when you played them a few weeks ago?

A: I think teams are who they are from a personnel standpoint and from a scheme standpoint but every week, there are some differences in terms of game planning and those sorts of things. Certainly when you play a team twice a year like you do your divisional opponents there is a lot of familiarity you have with each other and then there are some wrinkles that each team tries to provide in each area of their team. It is not unlike playing a team a second time every year, it just seems like it is a little bit closer. I think they are the same issues.?

?

Q: If Osi is back, what does that do in terms of you protecting Tony?

A: He is a great football player obviously and they have a number of defensive linemen who do a good job of pressuring the quarterback and defending the run. He is a part of that group and been a really good football player for a long time. Like the rest of those guys on their defensive front, we have to make sure that we run the ball well and that we protect well. He just adds to the challenge.

?

Q: What challenges does the Giants passing offense create for your defense?

A: They are very good on offense and a very good passing offense. I think it starts with the guys up front and the quarterback has a lot to do with it and they have a number of playmakers outside. They do a really good job with their scheme doing a really good job of making plays down the field. Like it is every week, you are going to get challenges in a lot of different areas and that is one of their areas of strength. Every week you try to pressure the quarterback and every week you try to cover the guys on the back end and that will be one of our challenges this week going up against these guys.

Q: How would you describe Hakeem Nicks?

A: I think he has great hands and I think physically, he has very large hands. He is able to make a lot of catches and seems like a guy who makes a lot of plays for them both underneath and down the field. I would say he catches the ball really well and is one of the best receivers in the league and a big challenge for us this week.

?

Q: What is the atmosphere around the team with this win-and-in game this week?

A: We are excited about the opportunity. There are a lot of teams that aren?t in the position that we are in. We played 15 weeks of football and got ourselves in the position to play for the NFC East title in the last game of the season against the Giants. That is an exciting thing for our football team. We have worked very hard to get here in this position, just like the Giants have. We are excited to go up there and see how we stack up. It will be a great challenge and they are a very good football team. We are excited about the chance to go do it.

?

Q: What is Felix Jones? status?

A: Felix was limited in practice today but we are hopeful that he can continue to progress as the week goes on. He did some work but didn?t do his normal number of reps but we will monitor that as the week progress and hope that he will be ready for the game.

?

Q: What is it like to work for Jerry Jones?

A: I think it is great and I think he is one of the great owners in the league. I think there is a tremendous amount of evidence that shows that. He wants to win and whenever you have an owner that wants to win, whether you?re a coach, player or anybody working for him, that is an exciting opportunity. He is very committed to winning and will do everything necessary to help us and that is a great feeling to have when we come to work. Our relationship has been outstanding for a lot of years and different capacities. I am excited about the opportunity to be his head coach.?

?

Q: What does the game against the Giants say about Felix Jones?

A: He has been a good player for us. If you guys have followed our team, he has been a dynamic player not only in the running game but also the passing game for us over the last three or so years. He got banged up earlier in the year and that gave DeMarco Murray a chance to play and he played really well. Felix did a good job of coming back and understanding the complimentary role he was going to play when DeMarco was the more featured back. He did a nice job in that role, a role that he had in the past. It didn?t surprise any of us that have been around him that when DeMarco got injured in the game, Felix just stepped up and was able to handle the bigger burden because he showed up for that game just like he has in the past.?

?

Q: Why has the Giants offense struggled in the past two weeks?

A: I just think those were two good defenses. We played both those teams and they play very good defense. They have a very good front and they do a good job in the back end on coverage. They challenge you in a lot of different ways. Having played Washington twice and having played the Jets early in the year, we know the challenges they present. The Giants are an outstanding offense and we understand what we are going up against going up there on Sunday night.

?

Q: Do you look at Eli Manning as an elite quarterback?

A: Absolutely, he is. I think individually, he has proven that and as the leader of that team he has proven that. He is an outstanding player and they do an outstanding job on offense. We understand the challenges he presents and that whole offensive team presents.

?

Q: How do you plan on defending Jason Pierre-Paul?

A: He is just a really good player. He is a big guy and he is very long. He is explosive and quick. He has a playmaker?s mentality and you see that when he plays the run and when he is rushing the passer. Again, it showed up in the kicking game when he made that big block at the end of the game. We definitely saw that on tape and we saw that out of him coming out of school a couple years ago. He is one of those types of players everybody was intrigued by and the Giants did a great job getting him. His role seems to have increased and he has done a really nice job taking advantage of the opportunity that he has gotten.

?

Q: How do you feel coming into a big game like this off last week?s performance?

A: It is certainly different because you always want to have all hands on deck and play your best football every week with every opportunity that you get. The situation was different last week, once the Giants won the game, the few guys that we had that were on the border and injured type guys, we just felt like in the best interest of our football team to rest those guys to get them ready for this week. I think we played hard in that game but not well enough. That game is behind us and we are pointing towards the Giants and looking forward to the opportunity.

Cranky croc steals Aussie zoo worker's lawn mower

(AP) ? A giant saltwater crocodile named Elvis with an apparent affinity for household machinery charged at an Australian reptile park worker Wednesday before stealing his lawn mower.

Tim Faulkner, operations manager at the Australian Reptile Park, north of Sydney, was one of three workers tending to the lawn in Elvis' enclosure when he heard reptile keeper Billy Collett yelp. Faulkner looked up to see the 16-foot (5-meter), 1,100-pound (500-kilogram) crocodile lunging out of its lagoon at Collett, who warded the creature off with his mower.

"Before we knew it, the croc had the mower above his head," Faulkner said. "He got his jaws around the top of the mower and picked it up and took it underwater with him."

The workers quickly left the enclosure. Elvis, meanwhile, showed no signs of relinquishing his new toy and guarded it closely all morning.

Eventually, Faulkner realized he had no other choice but to go back for the mower.

Collett lured Elvis to the opposite end of the lagoon with a heaping helping of kangaroo meat while Faulkner plunged, fully clothed, into the water. Before grabbing the mower, however, he had to search the bottom of the lagoon for two 3-inch (7-centimeter) teeth Elvis lost during the encounter. He quickly found them and escaped from the pool, unharmed and with mower in tow.

Though many may question the wisdom of going after a couple of teeth with a massive crocodile lurking just feet away, Faulkner said finding them was critical. "They clog up the filter systems," he said.

And, he said, "They're a nice souvenir."

Elvis has a history of crankiness and has lunged at staff before, though this is the first time he has stolen something from one of the workers. The croc was initially captured in the northern Australian city of Darwin, where he had been attacking fishing boats. He was then moved to a crocodile farm, where he proceeded to kill his two crocodile girlfriends.

In 2008, he was moved to the reptile park, where he has enjoyed solitary confinement in his own enclosure.

"When they are the dominant croc, they're just full of testosterone," Faulkner said. "He's got his beautiful own yard, he wants to be a solitary creature. He's happy."

Despite having to give up the lawn mower, Elvis was clearly pleased with himself, Faulkner said.

"He's beaten us today ... he's kingpin," Faulkner said. "He's going to be walking around with his chest puffed out all day."

As for the staff at the reptile park?

"I can't lie, the bosses are not going to be happy about the cost of a new lawn mower," Faulkner said with a laugh. "(But) we love it. No one's injured ... and when you get scared and it all turns out to be good, it's actually quite enjoyable."

Recent attacks by radical Muslim sect in Nigeria (AP)

A look at recent major attacks in Nigeria attributed to the radical Muslim sect known locally as Boko Haram:

? Dec. 25: Boko Haram claims responsibility for an attack on a Catholic church in Madalla near Nigeria's capital that kills 35 people and wounds 52. The sect shoots and kills a police officer after a failed bombing at a church in Jos, as a suicide bomber detonates a car full of explosives outside the Yobe state office for the country's secret police, killing three.

? Dec. 22-24: Sect members fight with police and military forces around the city of Damaturu, leaving at least 61 people dead.

? Nov. 4: Sect members bomb government buildings and shoot their way through the city of Damaturu, killing more than 100 people, while bombs and a suicide attack in Maiduguri leave 4 dead.

? Aug. 26: A sect member detonates a car loaded with explosives at the United Nations headquarters in Nigeria's capital Abuja, killing 24 people and wounding another 116.

? June 16: A car loaded with explosives detonates at the federal police headquarters in Abuja, killing at least two people. Police first call the attack a suicide bombing, but later deny it.

? April 9: Gunmen from the sect set fire to the Maiduguri International Hotel and kill a politician ahead of local elections.

? April 8: A bomb allegedly planted by the sect explodes at an election office in Suleja in Niger state, killing 16 people.

Couple donate $1 million to provide holistic care at Auburn's MultiCare Regional Cancer Center

A $1 million donation from Norman and Barbara Simon will improve access to holistic care as part of cancer treatment at MultiCare Regional Cancer Center in Auburn and at four other locations throughout the South Sound.

The Norman and Barbara Simon Endowment for Holistic Care will provide healing resources at the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center sites in Auburn, Tacoma, Puyallup, Covington and Gig Harbor.

The donation has personal meaning for the Simons: Norman survived cancer and his brother, Philip, died of lymphoma. The Simons realize that cancer affects not only the patient, but the entire family.

"We believe that holistic medicine treats the mind, the body and the spirit," Barbara Simon said. "When you hear a diagnosis of cancer, the first thing you experience is fear. A holistic approach offers so much comfort and healing. We're excited that MultiCare physicians are open to integrating this as part of their care for patients and their families."

With the endowment, Norman and Barbara emphasized the importance of offering holistic resources as a complement to clinical treatment options and advanced technology, providing a full range of services that are coordinated under one umbrella of care.

"This endowment will provide improved access for people who would like to have complementary holistic services such as acupuncture, massage, or naturopathic consultations as part of their cancer care," said David Nicewonger, oncology administrator for MultiCare Health System. "By bringing together these services, all the practitioners will have an opportunity to coordinate in a way that serves the best overall interests of the patient."

Norman and Barbara Simon, longtime Tacoma residents who now live in Gig Harbor, said they wanted to give back to their community. Norman is a Stadium High School graduate who helped run the third-generation family metal-scrapping business Joseph Simon and Sons on the Tacoma Tideflats. Previously, a $500,000 donation from Norman and Barbara Simon and Philip and Snookey Simon helped fund The Simon Chapel, which opened in March 2010 on MultiCare's Tacoma campus.

"Norman and I believe that when you want to make a difference, you do it in your own backyard," Barbara Simon said. "Our donations are a way of giving back for the blessings we've had. This community has been so good to us, and we're thrilled to be able to help all of the people who are in search of healing at the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center."

With the comprehensive care provided at the MultiCare Regional Cancer Center, people can take advantage of the region's best treatment options that offer reduced treatment times, fewer side effects and improved outcomes. The MultiCare Regional Cancer Center offers leading-edge cancer treatment technologies, such as Tacoma's only CyberKnife Radiosurgery System, the first and only robotic radiosurgery system designed to treat tumors anywhere in the body.

The MultiCare Regional Cancer Center also is a network affiliate of the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, offering patients access to the latest clinical trials without having to drive to Seattle for care.
